Configure run notifications

Notification preferences apply to every saved check on one site. Open the site, then Site settings → Notifications.

Choose when email is sent

  • Only when a run does not pass is the default. It sends for a failed, errored, or unjudged finished run.
  • Every finished run also sends for passes, person-stopped runs, and checks not run because an earlier check failed.
  • Never disables run-result email for the site.

In failure-only mode, a run you deliberately stop does not alert. A skipped Runs after follower also does not send a second alert—the parent failure is the actionable event. A failing scheduled check can send again on its next failed run; Journeys does not collapse repeated failures into one incident.

Ad-hoc runs of unsaved checks never send notifications.

Choose recipients

Enter one email address per line. Journeys validates and de-duplicates them. When the list is empty, the hosted service uses its configured default recipients; if it has none, it falls back to the Journeys account owner's email.

Each recipient gets at most one message for a run. The message includes the verdict, instructions, URL, steps, duration, result text, and a link to the run. It attaches the PDF report when one was produced and is available.

Unsubscribe and re-enable

Every result message has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing an address suppresses it across the Journeys service, not just for that one site. The address remains visible in the site's recipient list with an opted-out warning.

To restore mail, open Notifications and choose Re-enable beside that address. Removing and adding an opted-out address does not bypass the suppression.

If the dialog says email is not configured, your preferences are still saved, but the service cannot deliver anything until its mail setup is restored.
